180 Turning Lives Around is Monmouth County’s lead domestic/sexual violence agency providing a unique suite of empowerment services, including counseling, shelter, advocacy, and more. SHARE Counseling brings support, healing, assurance, rebuilding, and empowerment directly to the communities where it is needed most – those where our data shows incidents of domestic violence are high and use of victims’ services low. We will use local spaces we have identified as the safest and most convenient for our clients, including municipal buildings or places of worship, throughout Monmouth to provide weekly, in-person counseling sessions in the communities where they live. These are places that afford an even greater sense of confidentiality and will require minimal travel (another obstacle victims face).
