MISSION STATEMENT: Marty’s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary provides a safe, loving, and protected environment for senior dogs in need of homes, and is dedicated to providing quality care to all residents and peace of mind to pet caregivers in need knowing their senior dogs have forever homes.
THE PROJECT: Program
For many dog owners, the thought of relinquishing their pet is unthinkable. And yet, for many, it’s because of financial hardship that they have to give them up for adoption. The “Preserving the Special Bond Between Lower-Income Seniors and Their Cherished Pets Program” is an evolution of Marty’s Place’s foster care program to provide owners with the support they need to keep their pet, and the very special bond that exists between them.
